What do you think of my minecreft house?

Honestly, the screenshot makes me so concerned about your render distance that it distracted me from the actual architecture too much to form coherent thoughts until I look away.

Keep the old house as a reference for how much you're improving. Try to use a wider variety of building materials on the next one. Cobblestone and regular "Wood"-wood are comparable to "red and black"-webdesign. Also try out stuff with half-slabs, fences, upside-down stairs (they reorient if you aim at the upper part of the block they are placed against), buttons, redstone torches (purely for decoration). Wool and large glass walls might also work out. A single lit Pumpkin might also add some homely flair. Also think about a path to your house made from sand or gravel. Flowers can add a bit of color to the scenery that you see on your way to your house as well as when you look out of a window (bone-meal might help in this regard).
With an iron bucket you could add an artificial stream - or completely ruin the esthetic and your garden. (Experiment to learn how Minecraft-water works, first.)

...'Or' you could just uninstall Minecraft and get Terraria. ;)
I have experienced both of those games. Terraria has less mods, but a _way_ stronger base game. And the monsters will not try to blow up your house. And you will actually 'see' your own avatar.
